Originally from India, my family and I moved to New Zealand in 2019. I've been passionate about working with plants from a young age, leading me to earn a Doctorate in Plant Sciences and a Master’s in Agribusiness. I'm committed to overseeing every stage of the plant growth process through to harvest, with a dedicated focus on sustainable farming practices and maximising yield without compromising quality. I believe in fostering a team-driven environment where knowledge-sharing and collaboration flourish. Together with my team, I continuously explore new techniques and technologies to enhance our yield and maintain the highest standards of crop health and sustainability. |

With roots in Fiji, my family and I made New Zealand our home in 2006. I graduated with a degree in Management, majoring in Human Resource Management. Starting out in the dispatch team, I moved into management before stepping into my current role as HR and Health & Safety Advisor. This journey has given me valuable insight into both the operational and strategic sides of the business. I’ve always enjoyed working with people, and my role lets me do just that. My focus is on clear policies, compliance, and safety standards, while also supporting staff and fostering a positive workplace culture.

I grew up in Raupunga, Hawke’s Bay, and moved to Hamilton in 2019 to study Management. Since joining Kaipaki Berries in 2021, I’ve gained hands-on experience across every department of the farm, developing a deep understanding of berry production and operations. In my current role, I manage growing-related activities, working closely with a skilled and dedicated team to optimize productivity, improve crop quality, and implement innovative growing practices. Together, we take a whole-farm approach that ensures Kaipaki Berries continues to deliver strong results, sustainable growth, and industry excellence.

Born in Cambridge, though technically on the way to Hamilton, I like to think I’ve been on the move since day one. I take pride in keeping our equipment reliable, safe, and ready for the job. With years of hands-on experience across different machines, I enjoy finding solutions that keep everything running smoothly. I’m detail-oriented, proactive, and always focused on making sure our team has the tools and support they need to get the job done. At the end of the day, I enjoy knowing that the work I do helps keep our operations moving forward.

Hailing from India, my background primarily involved working as a farmer and managing my own agricultural endeavours. In January 2023, I made the significant decision to relocate to New Zealand and start my journey with Kaipaki Berries. Initially joining as a picker, I have now assumed the position of Supervisor in the dispatch team. My primary objective is to uphold the highest standards of berry quality to ensure customer satisfaction. I take my role seriously and strive to deliver the finest quality berries to our valued customers, drawing upon my background in agriculture and my dedication to excellence in this industry.

My journey began in Sri Lanka, where I earned a B.Sc. in Agriculture and a Master’s in Agri-Enterprise & Technology Management from WUSL, with experience spanning agronomy, research, and production management in the agricultural sector. After moving to New Zealand, I joined Kaipaki Berries in 2023, where I lead our teams to ensure top-quality berries from growing through to dispatch. I enjoy sharing knowledge and providing support to help achieve our growing targets. My role at Kaipaki Berries is deeply rewarding, as it aligns with my passion for modern agriculture and my curiosity to keep learning.
